Recycled Plastic Boardwalk

Chesham Council boardwalk

This week we completed a recycled plastic boardwalk for Chesham Council.
It was the first time for one of engineers, assisting in the creation of this type of project, and Mike Comlay from Chesham Council says they have done a fabulous job.

We had a fantastic review of a boardwalk that the team put in this month - they are about to publish it on social media. The council representatives were very pleased with how well our team worked, plus the way we treated the bank adjacent to the new boardwalk and utilised an idea to use up some old faggots that were sitting up in Letchworth (spare from a previous job).

"We had a really positive comment back from one of our councillors who is particularly interested in this sort of thing, and the local Rights of Way team responded with saying how much of an improvement it was. The local Chalk Streams Manager was really impressed with the treatment of the river bank. So, thumbs up all round so far - all comments have been very positive. It's clear that your team have done a cracking job, so thank you so much."
