How much will my delivery cost?
Delivery costs are calculated in the basket and updated in real time. The costs vary with the type, weight, size quantity of products ordered. See end for rates.
The easiest way to see how much an order will cost to deliver is to click ADD TO BASKET for the number of items you want. Then click on checkout and use the guest checkout facility.
Particularly heavy products or large orders may need to be shipped on a pallet or with a haulier. In these circumstances we will send you a quote for delivery before proceeding with the order, and may contact you to confirm your details. All delivery charges are for delivery to MAINLAND GB addresses only.
Prices for delivery to Offshore Islands (including but not exclusively Shetland, Orkney, Inner and Outer Hebrides, Channel Islands, Scilly Isles and Isle of Man) and Northern Ireland vary considerably so will be quoted for separately. If placing an online order please get in touch. We will then calculate the correct delivery charge and email you with the correct price and details of how you can make your payment. Please note that our website is not able to calculate different delivery costs for different locations. If you place an order online and delivery is not to a mainland GB address we reserve the right to invoice you for the difference prior to processing your order.
What are the timescales for a delivery?
We aim to deliver all goods in 10 – 14 working days, although we can often send them more quickly.
Items which are not held in stock in our yard but are readily available from our suppliers can take longer - generally about 6 weeks. The lead time for these items will be shown on the specific product and on your order.
Fabricated items such as furniture, signs, illuminated bollards etc will normally take 3 – 6 weeks and we are not able to provide a precise time for delivery.
If we can’t deliver your order within these timescales, we’ll let you know and give you the opportunity to either wait for the products or cancel your contract. If you choose to cancel, we’ll give you a full refund including any delivery charges that apply.
We strongly recommend that you don’t book installers until we’ve delivered your order in full and you’ve checked it over. Please note that we can’t be held responsible for any charges made by installers as a result of your order not being delivered, or because you didn’t check your delivery before booking their services.
Will I be notified?
We will always try to contact you either by phone or email before shipping the goods to make sure you can receive them and to inform you when they are likely to be delivered.
Who will deliver my order?
We will send your order using third-party carriers, this will either be in the form of a courier, palletised or with a haulier depending on the size and weight of your order.
If the goods are sent on a pallet and are less than 1.8m in length they can generally be unloaded from the delivery vehicle using a tail lift. If the pallet is longer than 1.8m, or in other exceptional circumstances, the pallet will need to be unloaded using unloading equipment such as a fork lift truck. Alternatively the goods can be handballed off. Please remember that:
It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide unloading equipment or handball the goods from the truck.

How many deliveries should I expect to receive?
We’ll always try to make one single delivery where possible, to minimise inconvenience. However, this may not always be possible. Where your order contains a mix of Products with different delivery lead times, the longest lead time will always apply to the entire order.
Do I need to be around for receiving my delivery?
All deliveries must be received and signed for by a person aged 18 or over. If no one is available to take the delivery, we’ll call you to arrange a suitable date and time for redelivery. We may need to make an additional handling charge for this. If no one is available to receive the redelivery, we may cancel your order and refund your payment, minus any delivery and handling charges.
Can I collect my order?
We are not able to accept collection of goods.
What should I do if there is a problem with my delivery?
If the delivery is late or has not turned up and our carrier has not contacted you, please email us at email@example.com or call us on 020 8261 7111 and we will contact the carrier directly.
How do I return a faulty or damaged product?
In the unlikely event that a product is faulty, not as described or delivered damaged, we'll be pleased to give you a refund or exchange if you tell us about the problem within 30 days of delivery. Please ensure that you have marked the delivery as being damaged with the carrier. If upon opening that you have found the order to be incorrect, damaged or faulty you can arrange free collection by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling us on 020 8261 7111 with your order number and product details.
Can I return an item/cancel a delivery?
Yes, we’ll be pleased to take back any items that are in a resalable condition within 14 days of purchase.

Please note that our minimum charge for this collection service is 15% of the order value and may be more depending on your location and product type. Once the products have been returned, you will be refunded within 7 working days.
Will I receive a re-stocking charge?
If we do accept a return of the Products, they must be returned in their original condition within 30 days of the date of delivery to you. Please note that we may deduct a restocking charge from the amount of your refund.
£15.50 plus VAT for the first 20.00kg and £0.35 plus VAT per kg thereafter. (£18.60 including VAT for the first 20.00kg and £0.42 including VAT per kg thereafter).
