Recycled Plastic Decking for Elder Residents
King Edward Place Decking
A recent decking job at King Edward Place in Wheathampstead has been completed using Revive Recycled Plastics for all structural posts and the subframe.
In the community, made predominantly up of retirees and elderly individuals, replacing the aging wooden decking became apparent as a critical measure to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents. The challenging task of replacing the existing structure was further complicated by the fact that it served as the sole points of access for the residents. Meticulous planning and thoughtful consideration were imperative to lessen the disruptions to their daily routines and activities. Careful attention had to be paid, minimising any inconvenience and ensuring a smooth transition, with a new and safer decking system that would cater to the needs of the elderly population residing in the community.
"Everyone involved is extremely happy with the outcome, and I have received many compliments about the team's hard work, conscientiousness, and overall pleasant demeanour. Well done to everyone involved."
