Fish Baffle Pass - WADE Group

We recently partnered with WADE Group on an environmental project, which supplied materials for the installation of a sustainable fish system near Salford.

Project overview:

The amazing team at WADE Group got to installing 40 fish baffles across 2 days, enhancing the aquatic ecosystem in the river valley in Pendleton, near Clitheroe. To create a lasting and effective solution, our recycled plastic material was ideal.

The advantages of our products:

WADE Group and the local area wanted to create using sustainable materials that perform exceptionally well in wet environments.

Non-harmful to wildlife – The fish baffles do not harm fish; instead, they slow the flow of water, creating calmer currents that allow easier migration and help support healthier fish populations.

Durability – Significantly longer lifespan than wood

Anti-Rot – Impervious to water damage and will not rot

Minimal Maintenance – Non-degrading nature of our plastic requires minimal upkeep
